The first time Sayles was open overnight due to heat, we built a fort and played Apples to Apples. Here're Tom and me. I'm not sure what face I'm making...

So, in Apples to Apples, there are red cards (nouns) and green cards (adjectives). Everyone has seven red cards. The judge each round turns over the next green card in the stack, and everyone has to put down (face-down) the noun that they think the judge will pick as best fitting with the adjective on the green card. Very subjective, of course - as the judge, you can choose to go with irony instead of seriousness if you want (and this is the way the game often goes with my friends). Inside jokes can be incorporated, too. Anyhow, I'll get to the point of this picture. When you win a round, you keep the green card. The thing is that when we play, we say that the adjectives on your green cards describe you. This is usually amusing. Poor Henry - these were the first four cards he won!! Needless to say, he is not actually any of these things.

When Taylor visited, he and Andrea and Robin and Debbie made apple crisp. Mmm!

I don't think I've yet posted a picture of my roommate this summer, Meg - this is a really cute one of her (right) and Debbie (left). :)

Pitting cherries for the pie - wasn't as ridiculously daunting a task as I thought it would be. Anna, Tom, Debbie, and me.

Tom (with his baby bottle) and me

Ha! I had no idea Iggy was making that face while I was rubbing his head...he was facing away from me. :)

We got hardcore into the headrubs at Dacie's this past Sunday. Tom, Henry, me, and Andrea.

Remember when I mentioned having pulled out the sofabed at Hunt Cottage? Here's a pic from then. Tom, me, and Henry. Hah, and there's Apples to Apples on the table behind us! Ooh, and my computer. Isn't it purty?!!

Dan's hair is getting so long...!!!
I'm also falling in love with this song,
